I began with photography about 4 years ago when I got my first SLR camera, a Yashica.

At the time I didn't really get that into it, what with having to wait for ages to get a film back,

then trying to remember the settings I'd used to get a good shot. Most of the time I just

played it safe and used the program mode instead of getting creative.

Around 2 years ago I 'upgraded' to a digital Konica Minolta which was a pretty good camera

for a point and shoot but I soon outgrew it and bought a Canon 350D, by this time I was

pretty much hooked. Now I have the ability to look at my photos when they've been shot I'm

really starting to learn from my mistakes. Although I've still got a long way to go I've come on

leaps and bounds since the upgrade. On this site you'll find the end product of that journey,

it will be updated most weeks as I take more shots so please come back frequently.
